Everything started for me after completing the IDYCA program. I was a troubled teen in the same situation a lot of cadets might be now. The program helped me in so many ways including realizing how much potential I have to be successful. The academy gave me the drive I needed to make something of myself.
Graduating, one of the most satisfying feelings I’ve ever had and I’ll never forget. Shortly after graduating the IDYCA program I went on to finish high school and apply for the United States Navy. I’ve been in the Navy since March of 2017….I’ve been on almost every carrier on the East coast and the last one being on the West coast the Theodore Roosevelt. If you like roller coasters, I recommend putting flying off a carrier on your bucket list. I also had the opportunity to travel to almost every state for different operations, one of my favorite being in Key West Florida….
Along this journey so far all of this has set me up for even more success enabling me to do almost anything or pursue almost any career you can think of and for me it all started with the IDYCA.
